#BlacktoBlack for kiwi fans
August 11, 2016
New Zealand sporting fans are in for a treat this year with the Silver Ferns and All Blacks playing #BlacktoBlack twice on SKY Sport NZ.
To celebrate the occasion Maria Tutaia, Bailey Mes and Katrina Grant were joined by Ardie Savea, TJ Perenara and Ben Smith for a special promo shoot – check out the sneak peek on our Facebook page for some behind-the-scenes pics!
Tutaia says this is an awesome opportunity for two of New Zealand’s premier sports to shine on the one night.
“What an opportunity for sports lovers – to have the number one female sport and number one men’s sports in New Zealand playing back-to-back,” Tutaia said.
The Silver Ferns and All Blacks will play #blacktoblack on August 27 and September 17 – with the All Blacks Test Matches following the Silver Ferns LIVE on SKY Sport.
August 27 will see the Silver Ferns face the England Roses in a blockbuster double-header at Vector Arena to launch the Netball Quad Series, with the Australian Diamonds and South Africa’s SPAR Proteas also in action – GET TICKETS.
September 17 sees the Silver Ferns host world number four, the Jamaican Sunshine Girls in the third and final Test of the New World Netball Series for the Taini Jamison Trophy – GET TICKETS.
“It’s pretty exciting; this doesn’t happen all that often, so to have two of our premier teams in action back-to-back – amazing talent and great sporting rivalries – what more could you want!” Grant said.
Mes echoed Grant and Tutaia’s thoughts, saying it’ll be an awesome opportunity for New Zealand sporting fans.
“It’s going to be an amazing season – fans will be able to see some of the world’s best netballers in action live – there’s lots of excitement in the squad and it’ll be awesome!”
