Chemist Warehouse Form New Partnership with Netball New Zealand
Netball New Zealand (NNZ) is delighted to announce a new multi-year partnership with leading community pharmacy group Chemist Warehouse which will include support for the world champion Silver Ferns.
The five-year deal, which runs through to 2027, will see Chemist Warehouse becoming a major partner of both NNZ and the Silver Ferns.
Chemist Warehouse signed multi year partnerships with four ANZ Premiership teams earlier this year and this is another sign of their commitment to growing netball across the country.
The leading pharmacy, which opened its doors in 2017, has extended their support to the elite level and will now have its logo on the side of the Silver Ferns dress and the national team’s supporting apparel, starting during January’s Netball Quad Series against England, Australia, and South Africa.
NNZ Chief Executive Jennie Wyllie said they were thrilled to join forces with Chemist Warehouse and looked forward to building the relationship over the next five years.
“This is an exciting new partnership for NNZ with Chemist Warehouse who share our ambitions and visions including a desire to support their local communities and advocating for a healthy and active lifestyle for New Zealanders,” she said.
“Chemist Warehouse have already shown a commitment to Netball in New Zealand earlier this year and this new partnership will only help to grow our sport and support our athletes in the Silver Ferns environment.”
Chemist Warehouse New Zealand CEO Azman Haroon said they were delighted to announce the exciting new partnership with NNZ and further support women in sport.
“We are incredibly proud to stand beside a world class team in the Silver Ferns and Netball New Zealand,” he said.
“Our aim to connect with fans to encourage healthy communities throughout the country and we feel this is a unique opportunity to do so.
“We made a significant step with Netball earlier this year through partnerships with four ANZ Premiership teams and we’re looking forward to taking this next step with the Silver Ferns and Netball New Zealand.”
Chemist Warehouse has 37 community pharmacies across the country and will continue to open pharmacies across Aotearoa in 2023, as they support all Kiwis access to affordable health care.
