Unprecedented Coverage of Netball at 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games
Netball New Zealand is pleased to confirm unparalleled broadcast coverage of the Netball competition at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
A total of 24 games will be broadcast LIVE on SKY Sport including all New Zealand matches, with a further 10 matches shown delayed. Netball is one of the principle sports at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow with New Zealand the two-time defending champions.
Twelve countries will vie for the gold medal over 11 days of competition with New Zealand in Pool A alongside Malawi, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Saint Lucia and Jamaica. The top two teams from the pool will progress to the Semi-finals on August 2nd.
The pool matches will be played at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) with the finals matches being moved to the larger SSE Hydro venue.
