Eyes on upcoming Test Series against Fiji and South Africa

Next week the Fiji Pearls and SPAR Proteas (South Africa) will arrive in New Zealand to play the Silver Ferns in the New World Netball Series competing for the Taini Jamison Trophy.
Silver Ferns coach Waimarama Taumaunu says the three Test Matches are a vital part of the team’s preparation ahead of the Netball World Cup in August.

“The upcoming Tests are hugely important for this Silver Ferns team. We have a number of new playing combinations in the side, which we can’t wait to get out on court together” she said.
The New World Netball Series for the Taini Jamison Trophy gets underway in Porirua on Thursday 23 July with the Silver Ferns playing the Fiji Pearls.
They will then face South Africa’s SPAR Proteas at Claudelands Arena on Sunday 26 July and again on Tuesday 28 July at The Trusts Arena, Auckland.
A special presentation to the team will take place at the conclusion of the final Test Match on Tuesday 28 July at The Trusts Arena, Auckland. Make sure you secure your seat to farewell the Silver Ferns!
