Henry withdraws from 2015 Silver Ferns squad

Silver Ferns midcourter, Joline Henry, has opted to withdraw from the 2015 Silver Ferns squad, ruling her out of selection for the upcoming New World Netball Series for the Constellation Cup.
Renowned for her dogged and relentless defensive qualities, Henry has played 91 Tests for the Silver Ferns since her debut against Australia in 2004.
Netball New Zealand Head of High Performance, Steve Lancaster said they respected Henry’s decision to take a break from the game.
“Joline is a senior member of the squad and has been a valued member of the Silver Ferns for over a decade,” Lancaster said.
“We respect her decision and wish her all the best for her upcoming wedding.”
NNZ will hold trials in early October, after which they will name their team to face Australia in the New World Netball Series for the Constellation Cup.
