SilverFans snap up tickets to Nelson Test Match
The Silver Ferns will open the series against world number four, the Jamaican Sunshine Girls, at the Trafalgar Centre, Nelson – the first time Nelson has hosted a Silver Ferns Test Match.
Netball New Zealand (NNZ) chief executive Hilary Poole says the support the team has received from the local community is outstanding.
“This is the first time the Silver Ferns have played a Test Match in Nelson and we’re delighted by the response from SilverFans this morning,” Poole said.
“When the pre-sale window opened at 10am, Ticketek was inundated with SilverFans keen to secure their seat to this history-making event.
“It will be a wonderful occasion and we’re all looking forward to opening the New World Netball Series for the Taini Jamison Trophy in Nelson.”
A very limited number of tickets will be available to the public from 10am, Friday 27 May via Ticketek. Fans are encouraged to get in early to avoid disappointment.
