Top dance crews set to take to the court

Two top New Zealand dance groups will showcase their talents on court during the Netball Quad Series in Auckland and Tauranga.
Rina Chae and the Street Candee Dance Company will light up the court at Spark Arena this Saturday for both the Australia v South Africa and Silver Ferns v England matches.
The Street Candee Dance Company renowned for their sassy and powerful acts which range from music videos, Kpop (Korean Pop) music videos, live events and TV commercials.
The crew are promising to bring some underground disco funk to the game, taking the crowd on a funky 70’s and 80’s journey.
Chae boasts an impressive resume have spent six years dancing in Los Angeles, performing with the likes of Justin Beiber, Beyonce, Chris Brown and Neyo.
“My start in dancing came from watching Janet Jackson videos - she is the ultimate female icon in my eyes,” Chae said.

Following on from that, Steps Dance School will get their opportunity during the Silver Ferns v South Africa Test in Tauranga on Tuesday 18 September.
Based in Whakatane, Steps Dance School teach Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary and Tap from the age of four through to adult competition crews.
Kirsty Sugden will lead a group of dancers putting their competition routine into practice in front of a packed crowd at ASB Baypark Arena.
