Silver Ferns defender Katrina ‘Pole’ Grant has a wish list of things to accomplish while in Glasgow for the upcoming Commonwealth Games.

After months if not years of planning, the New Zealand Netball team are finally on their way to the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games leaving Auckland late last night after an official farewell function in Takapuna.

Coaching the NZ Netball team to two Commonwealth Games gold medals and a silver medal over the span of nine years is an incredible achievement for any coach of any sporting code at a major event.

They’re a tired but satisfied bunch after another intense training session on Auckland’s North Shore as preparation for the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games heats up.
