Northland defender Sandra Easterbrook’s Silver Ferns career was a brief one. Selected for the 1967 Netball World Cup team as a wing defence, Easterbrook played the first two or three games of the Perth event before her tournament was cut short. Hospitalised by a back injury sustained during one of the matches ended her participation in the rest of the event and her time as an international.
