A versatile player, midcourter Tayla Earle provides a strong link through the court with her consistent feeding on attack while also providing nuggety defence where she has a nose for the intercept.
On the fringe of achieving higher honours in recent seasons, Earle is full of gritty determination, speed and flair. An exciting talent who has made significant gains in the Mystics environment where she will line up for a sixth season in 2024, Earle has been a member of the 2022 and 2023 FAST5 Ferns teams competing at the FAST5 Netball World Series and winning bronze and silver medals, respectively. Included in the 2023-24 Silver Ferns Development squad, Earle was selected as a training partner for the 2024 Netball Nations Cup tour to England, and subsequently won her first international cap during the series.
Earle has made the Mystics her home since stepping out of the schoolgirl ranks and into elite level netball with consummate ease in 2019. The former New Zealand Secondary School Player of the Year made an immediate impact for the Mystics through her athletic ability, skill-set and deft no-fear feeding touch.
